Be careful. Beaded mocs may not be the best idea for infants. They explore their new world by putting things in their mouth, including their feet. Hootie

both my boys had mocs, beaded on top of foot, until they were 4- never a problem. One time i did see some colorful specks in a diaper but it was due to a curious baby opening a container of my beads....

The size beads you would use on baby mocs are so small that they are no problem. As for patterns - I've been making hanpa so long, it isn't funny & we've never used a pattern - we make them to fit...
